A Visit to the Beach

We just got through listening to the World Wide YOuth Devotional. I love to the hear the Prophet. I love that he invited us ( I consider myself youth, he's 93, that makes me youthful)  to be part of the Lord's Army to gather scattered Isreal. I know he is a Prophet of God! I'm going to take him up on his invitations, which means among other things, no social media for 7 days. That's not a huge problem but after I post this blog I'll see you on the other side of 7 days. We also listened and watched the celebration for the revelation that all worthy members can receive the priesthood and the Blessings of the Temple.  That happened 40 years ago. Just a few months after the revelation missionaries came here. We now have a Temple. We are told that the rate of growth for the church is faster here than in any other country. The people here are ready. They all believe in Christ and just need to hear the word of the fulness of the Gospel.  We love how the color of your...

I'm not sure where the week went. As I start to look back on the week it just seems like a blur and I can't remember what we did. It's been a long six weeks but she can finally start to exercise again. When we were home for Madison's wedding 78 weeks ago Hermana Borup had some surgery done on her foot. Since that time she has not been able to exercise and has only been able to walk with a special shoe. It is now off so we went to the beach to celebrate with her first swim in 8 weeks. We actually swam 3 times this week. SHe still can't run for a few more weeks and we are going to try to ride tomorrow. For those of you who know how much Hermana Borup loves running, you will know how hard this has been for her. She really has been positive though. This week was zone conference. They usually have 3-4 zones meet at the same time and are held one time every transfer period (6 weeks). This time around The President is having them with each Zone individually and we received training in the morning of the first day and then we went and practiced what we were taught and then reported and received more train...
