We¨re back!

Sorry for the little break in the action. As most of you know we went home for Madison and Corbinś Wedding. We can´t lie it was very nice to be back in Orem and see family and friends after 10.5 months. We missed everyone We also missed our new home while we were away. I never really felt settled while we were home. I always felt like my business was here. But going to our daughters sealing was one of those great milestones in life.

It has been hard to get back into the rhythm of mission life. Before we left for home, we had worked into a very busy schedule. We left most of those visits open-ended so we spent much of our week visiting and making appointments. One day we asked a recently baptized member to go with us on visits. She was very helpful. She has become one of our favorites. She speaks English very well and has a good balance of letting us try our Spanish and only coming into help when we are backed into a corner.

This week we hosted a Leadership Council meeting for the Zone. Which means we got to feed them. Itś always fun to provide a well-balanced meal to the missionaries who often don´t get one unless you call cereal and milk well-balanced. I got to teach the missionaries in a Zone meeting about setting goals and keeping focus on those goals. It basically went like this. I asked a few missionaries what their goals were this week. (they all set goals each week) After it was established that they didn´t even know what their goals are, we talked about how important it is to know what your goal is if you want to achieve it and if you want Heavenly Father to help you. If you don´t care enough to even know what your goals are, do you think Heavenly Father will or can help? By the way, it was all in Spanish except towards the end when I was running out of time and needed to fit more in.

I have a lot more to say but For tonight Iḿ going to end here. We love you all and miss you already but feel like this is where we need to be at this time. It feels good to be back and settle into the work here. We love the people here. They are so kind.

Until next week
